Eight E-Houses have been completed, including design, engineering, fabrication, outfitting, and testing for a company in the industry, and have been shipped to the Netherlands. Since the structures will be used in salt mine sites, they have high corrosion resistance. The prefabricated substations, which have an area of 127.50 square meters, contain the following equipment: 10 kV Ring Main Unit/Switchgear; 10/0.4 kV transformer; Low voltage switchgear; UPS system; Airco unit; Distribution Boards.
Special blast-resistant tanks have been manufactured for the bottom of the RMU boards inside the buildings. The structures have been designed and manufactured with a durable construction to make a maximum deflection of 2 mm when lifted with the equipment loaded inside. Special sandwich panels were used instead of the trapezoidal shaped welded wall sheet used for conventional E-House solutions in order to eliminate the industrial appearance of the buildings and add some more aesthetics.
